Author:

Gaston Louis Alfred Leroux (born on May 6, 1868, in Paris, France, and passed away on April 15/16, 1927, in Nice) was a French novelist and journalist. He is renowned for his works of terror and detective fiction, including “The Phantom of the Opera”,which later gained fame through various film and theater adaptations. Leroux worked as a journalist and international correspondent, covering events such as the Russian Revolution of 1905. Although he didn´t achieve great fame as a writer of horror and crime stories, his legacy endures as a pioneer in mystery literature
