- Over the course of a week (Monday-Friday), maintain a daily journal documenting an environmental or social issue caused by climate change or environmental impact that you observe in the national or international context.
- Examples could include pollution effects due to oil spills, waste management practices in Southern countries, effects of dryness or floods in small producers, etc.
Step 1
Journal
- Take screenshots of your video and the replies you made.
- Upload it to your LMS activity titled #Icebreaker
Step 4
Share your evidence
- Upload your videos to Slack’s channel #icebreaker
- Take time to watch videos created by your fellow participants and provide comments on their work. If the selected student has a comment, move on to the next one.
- Explore both similarities and differences in concerns between communities, fostering dialogue on common challenges and potential solutions.
Step 3
Share and discuss
Before the week ends, create a brief 1-3 minute video summarizing your journal entries where you focus on:
- The issue that you found most significant or recurrent.
- Your personal feelings and concerns about this issue.
- Any actions taken by national/ international actors to address the problem.
