Forms of may might.
  • Positive: subject-may/might-verb in base form. Ex:I may/might be late today.                              Short answers
  • Negative:subject-may/might not-verb in base form.                                            - The subject personal pronoun is put and may. 
-Ex:You may/might not come today.                                                                              -May I go with you? Yes, you may/No, you may not.
  • Interrogative:May-subject-verb in base form-?.
-Ex:May I use your bike?.(Puedo utilizar tu bici).
In interrogative, may is usually used and it has the meaning of permission or request, not of possibility.
"May" means (puede o talvez), is a modal verb in English used to express 1.possibility, 2.permission or 3. probability in different contexts.   For Example:
 1-"May" is used to indicate a present or future possibility: It may rain later. (Puede llover mas tarde.)
 2- We use ''May'' to ASK FOR permission, May sounds more polite than using Can or Could: May I have some water please?(puedo tomar algo de agua porfavor).To GIVE permission: You may open the window if it becomes hot. to NOT GIVE permission or to PROHIBIT someone to do something: You may not take photos inside the museum.
3-In some cases, "may" is used to express probability.
Example: He may already be home. (Puede que ya este en casa).

''Might'' means (pudiera o podria ser que)  and expresses the same thing as may, although with might the possibility is less precise.
