The Leprechaun

Celtic mythology tells us that "The Leprechaun" is a leprechaun that inhabits the forests of Ireland, along with other creatures called the Tuatha de Dannan, since long before the arrival of the Celts. They gather money in clay pots, build shoes, and get into a lot of mischief.

The Legend of the 4-Leaf Clovers

According to Irish legends, St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, used the shamrock (a green three-leaf clover) to explain the Christian doctrine of the Holy Trinity to the Irish during Christianization in the fifth century. In St. Patrick's Day celebrations on March 17, the four-leaf clover is often used as a symbol of good luck.

The Legend of the Snakes.

According to legend, St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, chased snakes into the sea after they began attacking him during a 40-day fast he undertook on a hilltop. Legend has it that St. Patrick expelled all snakes from Ireland, throwing them into the sea. Several interpretations have been proposed to explain this story, mixing geological realities with Christian metaphors.
