this bookcase belongs to an exclusive series of designs made in 1967 by architect Ugo La Pietra. Comprised of Santos rosewood and plywood stackable elements that can be arranged according to personal taste, this piece displays an E-shaped structure with two bases, two one-meter-long double-faced modules, four 80cm-long double-faced modules, and six 60cm-long double-faced modules.

Composition'’D'in rosewood is a book of single-sided overlapping structures. This functional unit is accessible from both sides. The configuration presented here (is Position D) is based on an irregular arc pattern, but this library can be moved anywhere.
