Parts of a Book
SPINE
A book spine is the part of a book that you see when it's sitting on a shelf. Most book spines have the title and the author's name. Books with soft, paper front covers may have a smaller edge for a spine without words. Just like a spine helps hold up your body, the book spine holds up the book and often helps you find the book you want to read!
