Eduardo KOBRA

It's a painting on a wall with lots of color. This work was creatad in 2018 for the 17th anniversarynof the September 11 attack.

The creator of this painting is Eduardo KOBRA.He is a Brazilian street art artist from Sao paulo. It is know for its large, colorful frescoes, sometimes showing messages.

In the foreground there is a firefighter who is kneeling to pay tribute to the New York firefighters who intervened on the World Trade Center site. The fireghter's outfit is of different colors:there is yellow, blue, red, green, purple and white. In the background, there is the flag of the united states.

I suppose, the artist seeks to raise awareness of the seriousness of this event. And wants to pay tribute to the firefighters and those who died during this tragedy.I think this painting is a very beautiful tribute to the victims of the September 11 attacks.

Finally, this work painted by Eduardo KOBRA pays tribute to the victims of September 11 throught this painting made on the wall of a 7 upstairs building located in New York.

"The victims of the 11 September attacks are first and foremost the innocent civilians who have lost their lives and the families who mourn them. But peace, tolerance, mutual respect, human rights, the rule of law and the global economy have all suffered equally as a result of terrorist acts." by Kofi Annan
