Residential area in the suburban east of Palermo. The social context is mixed.

It is a modern Middle school, with a Manager who is focused on the use on the new tehnological instuments to the students ,on continuous teacher training and on new oppotunities.

The majority of them are into sports and fashion. Just a few use to read books at home. They have strong personalities and opinions and they are keen to discuss and to fight for their rigths.

  • GENERAL BEHAVIOUR/ MOTIVATION: SS are quite responsible but perky, they get bored easily.
  • HETEROGENITY/ HOMOGENITY: SS often tend to form fixed groups but they are able to support each other.

  • DIGITAL COMPETENCE: Used to training and tests online on several online platforms, either in class (on the IWB or on their mobile) and at home . They can easily reach the platforms from Google Classrom.
