OUR APPROACH

“We must walk before we run.” We’ll walk together with you.

SMART goals help you identify your priorities in order to create a detailed plan to implement and assess the effectiveness of that plan over time. Without a SMART goal, measuring success, setting deadlines, prioritizing objectives, or even starting a project is challenging.

Our partnership's SMART goals

HumanWare: Utilize equity / discipline audits to address schools with disparate disciplinary impacts across demographic groups comparing each month at each school to the previous year’s data by supporting school sites to consistently and effectively implement strategies that strengthen student and staff relationships using the district approved curriculum to improve student access to the maximum instructional time in school across the 2024-2025 school year.

Attendance: Reduce the number of students who are characterized as chronically absent by 20% monthly, comparing each month at each school to the previous year’s data, by developing and training school-based staff on a protocol to provide individualized support for students to improve student access to the maximum instructional time in school across the 2024-2025 school year.

Safety & Security: Standardize and develop strong relationships between safety and security staff across the district based on the walkthroughs, reflections, and Let’s Talk survey data by creating and enforcing a Safety and Security interaction guide to ensure all students feel a part of an inclusive community throughout the 2024-2025 school year.

Safety & Security

Human Resources: Reduce the number of staff leaving the district monthly by comparing each month’s exits to the previous year’s data. Develop and iterate a year-long onboarding process for all new hires to ensure all incoming staff feel a part of an inclusive community across the 2024-2025 school year.
