Événements

Après l'exposition en 2011 « Ancestral Realms of the Naxi » au Rubin Museum of Art (New York), c'est la première fois qu'une exposition sur la minorité naxi et la culture dongba est organisée en Europe. L’exposition « Dongba : des pictogrammes naxi à l’art contemporain » a été programmée du 15/12/2019 au 31/07/2020 au musée des arts asiatiques de Nice pour ensuite être présentée du 19/05/2021 au 26/09/2021 au musée Champollion – Les Écriture du Monde.Son parcours explique l'histoire de ce peuple, sa religion, ses coutumes et son écriture pictographique. Elle présente une spécificité par rapport à l'exposition américaine avec la présentation d'œuvres contemporaines réalisées par des artistes naxi.
