National institution of higher education in Qatar. The Translation Minor offered by the Dept of English Literature & Linguistics at the College of Arts & Sciences is designed to meet the demands of an increasingly globalized society by developing translation skills in the fields of law, science & technology, business, media and the arts. The program develops students’ awareness of the cultural and linguistic challenges involved in translation.

Qatar National Library acts as a steward of Qatar’s national heritage by collecting, preserving & making available the country’s recorded history.
