Malala Yousafzai is a very young Pakistani girl,know for her human rights advocacy and for the right to education in her country,Pakistan. Malala was born in Mingora the 12th of July 1997 and won Nobel Peace Prize in 2014

Yousafzai was born on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, in the Swat Valley of Pakistan. Her father was an outspoken social activist and educator. He ran the Khushal Girls High School and College. Yousafzai was one of the top students at the school.

Thanks to her activism he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014

Malala Yousafzai is known for her commitment to the affirmation of civil rights and the right to education of women in the city of Mingora, Pakistan. At just eleven years old, Malala spoke publicly about the importance of education for girls, through a blog she edited for the BBC.

On October 9, 2012, the young Pakistani activist was seriously injured by gunmen in Peshawar. After repeated threats on October 9, 2012, after school, while on the old bus that takes her home, a man shoots her by hitting her in the face

Malala was only 15 years old when it happened

The girl was later transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham which offered to treat her After the assassination attempt, her cause was taken up by many powerful people.

On October 9, 2012, while on her way home from school, Malala was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman. Recovered in the military hospital in Peshawar, she survived the attack.
