This book is a memoir.The author talks us trough her life since she was eleven years old until she is in her 30´s.We read about how she expirienced life, love, relationships and how she matures and becamoes a woman.This mentions romantic relationships but also the love beteween friends.She also talks about therapy and her expirience with mental health issues.Above all this book is a collection of advices for young women and a reminder to live life as fully as you can.

The main caracter of this book is Lily. The book starts when Lily was a teenager and falls in love with her school friend Atlas. After her father´s death, she was older and moves away to Boston. In Boston she meets Ryle who becomes her husband, and they have a daughter. Ryle was agressive with Lily so they get divorced. Then Lily and Atlas meet again, after not seeing each other for many years and they start falling in love again . Ryle doesn´t like Atlas and the book ends with Lily triyng to deal with her ex-husband´s anger and trying to find a way to be with Atlas again.
