The second universal exhibition in Paris,1855
The Crystal Palace was a big glass and iron construction that was built in London on 1851 for the first Universal Exhibition (the idea was Hector Horeau and Richard Turner but it was Joseph Paxton who made the final project).
The first universal exhibition at the crystal palace took place on 1 May 1851 to show all the progress  (art progress, industry progress...).

Finally, the Crystal Palace was destroyed in flames on the night of November 30, 1936.
