It was installed in Hyde Park, only to be dismantled and rebuilt in another area of the city, Sydenham Hill, in 1852. It was one of the most famous examples of iron architecture and inspired the construction of many other buildings, often baptized in the same way.
His story
Construction was finished in just four months.At the end of the Expo, 6 months later, the structure will be dismantled and then reassembled in the London suburb of Sydenham Hill. Tragically, the building was destroyed by fire in 1936.
