How to make a jelly

ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (350 ml) fruit juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) cold water
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) hot water
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 1 to 2 cups (100 to 200 g) of fresh fruit (optional)
  • mead, honey, stevia, sugar, etc. (to taste, optional)

jelly from scratch

01

Pour the cold water into a measuring cup, then sprinkle the gelatin over it. Stir quickly until the gelatin thickens.

Sprinkle the gelatin over the cup with cold water and stir.

02

The water should be very hot, but not boiling. This will soften the gelatin and make it more runny. Don't worry, the gelatin will thicken and rise again.

Add the cup with hot water.

03

You can use just one type of fruit juice, or you could use two different types of fruit juice for a more unique flavor. Pineapple, orange, grape, or apple juice are all great options.

Add the cup with fruit juice.

04

Almost any type of fruit works well with Jello, including blueberries, orange wedges, pineapple, and strawberries. After adding the fruit, give it a quick stir.

Pour the mixture into the desired mold and add some fruit, if desired.

05

You can also leave it there overnight. You can test whether the jelly is ready or not by pressing your fingers against it. If the jelly sticks to your fingers, it's not ready and needs to be refrigerated longer. If the finger comes out clean, the jelly is ready.

Cover the gelatin, then refrigerate it for at least 2 to 3 hours.

06

You can serve the gelatin as is or with a dollop of whipped cream. You can also decorate it with more fruit.

Unmold the gelatin and serve it.

thank youuu :D

enjoy it!
