enigma: FIND THE CHARACTER

Form teams of four or five to play. The team that starts is decided by drawing lots and the game is played clockwise. It is about guessing who the mysterious character is using as few clues as possible. There are six clues: if you guess correctly using only one clue, you get the top score: six points! For each clue used, one point is lost.

She is an orphan girl who has not found a family that will take her in for love.

She has lived in many foster homes, where she has been made to work as a servant.

She is taken in by some farmers who, at first, do not want her: they were expecting a boy to help them with the work on the farm.

She is chatty and joins in, but her classmates criticise her for her origins.

When a piece of jewellery disappears at home, she is automatically accused of having stolen it.

Finally, she has the opportunity to go to school.

Anne Sherly

from Anne of Green Gables, based on the book by Lucy Maud Montgomery. At the end of the 19th century, Anne is adopted by siblings who live on a farm near the Canadian city of Avonlea. It addresses issues such as class differences, gender inequality and the right to a home and an education.

He often wears an astronaut helmet to hide his physical appearance: he is scared of being laughed at.

from Wonder (based on the book by Raquel J. Palacio), has a congenital malformation that gives him an unconventional appearance and until now he has never gone to school. In it, he will have to face the prejudices that many have about his appearance, although in the end he will also enjoy the empathetic attitude of many classmates.

His new love plays on the school rugby team, which has very stereotypical attitudes.

from Heartstopper (based on the graphic novel by Alice Oseman), and his friends believe that they are a group of “weirdos” because they are different from everyone else. Charlie falls in love with Nick, who, at first, is bewildered by his feelings for his friend. Both will experience a series of discriminatory and “violent” actions because of their homosexuality.

Dion

from the series Raising Dion, has superpowers. In the first episode, no one accepts him, because his abilities make him too “different.” His biggest wish is to fit in at his new school and make friends who accept him for who he is.
