Female students and employees : under-represented in STEM fields.In 2010 around 28% of the world's researchers in S&E are women. Women in STEM fields publish less and often receive less pay than men. The number of women working in scientists psychologists, biological/ agricultural/ environmental life sicentists in 2010 up from 23% in 1993. So the place of women in STEM fields is still not equal to that of men, but it has improved since the 20th Cenury

She was born on 1910 and died on 2008. American mathematician and computer programmer work for NACA and NASA. Important contribution of the U.S space program. Supervisor of the west area computers: first african- american woman to receive a promotion and supervise a group of staff at the center.
