- through a dynamic in which students have to say specific vocabulary words, this activity makes students lose their fear of speaking in English and helps to increase the memory of these words.
- An ideal language classroom would have an adaptable design, modern technology, available teaching materials and a welcoming environment that promotes effective learning.
- In large classes, I try to organize the space, use technological resources and didactic alternatives to maintain participation and attention. In group work, I assign clear roles, set defined goals and offer continuous support to promote collaboration.
- My classroom management philosophy is based on values and a focus on education. I believe in an environment that cultivates ethical and moral values, nurturing the personal and academic growth of my students. Beyond imparting knowledge, I see education as a tool to form individuals of integrity who contribute positively to society.
- This course has been fundamental to my English teaching development plan. It has provided a platform for acquiring new pedagogical strategies specific to teaching English, allowing me to explore innovative and effective approaches to address the linguistic and communicative needs of my students. In addition, the exchange of experiences and collaborative reflection with other professionals has enriched my perspective, strengthening my commitment to continue growing as an English educator and maximizing my impact on the linguistic and academic development of my students.
- During my time as a trainee teacher, I have experienced significant pedagogical development by bringing new teaching methods and adapting to the diverse needs of my students. This growth has gone hand in hand with the strengthening of classr oom management skills and the effective integration of technological tools. Through challenges and successes, I have learned the importance of constant reflection and adaptability in my educational approach.
Classroom research approaches to teaching:This incident led me to explore more investigative approaches in my teaching practice. This classroom research allowed me to adapt my teaching more effectively, addressing students' individual needs and improving their understanding of the language.
Case analysis:Reflecting on this critical incident, I identified the need to adopt a more dynamic and adaptive approach to teaching the grammar concept. I recognized that traditional methods might not be effective for all students, so I decided to implement alternative strategies, such as the use of visual resources and play-pedagogical activities to reinforce learning.
Critical incident:During an English class, a group of students showed significant difficulty understanding a fundamental grammatical concept. Despite my initial attempts to explain the topic using traditional methods, most of the students continued to show confusion and lack of comprehension, which generated frustration and demotivation in the classroom.
