The objectives that we intend to work on in the story that we have made about the water day are the following:

Our topic is relevant to society, and therefore, it is important to work on it from an early age. Some of the most relevant aspects to work on at an early age are:

  3. Developing values such as responsibility, respect for the environment and empathy for the needs of other living beings

The main character of our story is Droppy, a little drop of water.This fictional character has been chosen to help children understand the water cycle with its most basic unit, the drop of water.In addition, they will be put in situations of the different feelings and emotions that this one experiences throughout the story, since it is a drop of water.

Our narrator is omniscient because he is the one who knows all the details of the story and how it happens, even what is going to happen. One of the main characteristics of the omniscient narrator is that he knows what each of the characters is thinking and can seek deeper into the psychological aspects of each of them, so that seemed to be the most appropriate way to tell the story.

At the beginning, when we are introduced to the drop of water and later, when the ants are introduced as secondary characters, with whom the drop, Droppy, befriends.

Droppy, unintentionally, is blown towards the ground by a gentle breeze. Causing fear and expectation.

The rising action happens when Droppy gently lands on a shiny leaf from a forest tree.

When Droppy, after descending, encounters a family of ants who show her the beauty of the earth as they explore the forest together.

After spending the day with the ants, Droppy begins to feel hot because the sun shines brighter and then he evaporates and rises and returns to his home, that is, to become part of a cloud again.

The objective of the story is to work on the objectives that have been presented previously so that children are able to understand the importance of water and be responsible for the use of water.The story shows the water cycle present in the journey of the drop, so that children understand how water behaves during its useful life.

Collaborative work and empathy are shown in the encounter of the ants with Droppy, this type of socialization and group work being visible in all aspects of human life, so we prepare students for their future in society.It can also be understood that each drop is important and that if we want to preserve the existence of drops like Droppy, we must be responsible with its use, not only taking care of the use of water, but also of nature and the natural state of the earth.
