Unit 5-Personal Fitness Assignment For this assignment, you will answer questions in Edio based on your fitness level. You will then create a fitness goal following the SMART goal formula. Once you have outlined a fitness goal you will create a workout plan to help you achieve that goal. SMART Goal S-Specific-Define your goal in detail. M-Measurable-How will you know you have achieved your goal? A-Attainable-This is a goal you will be able to reach. R-Realistic-This goal makes sense for you. T-Time-based-There is a time frame or a deadline for when you will achieve this goal. Click here to review a SMART goal Fitness Plan Your fitness plan should include:

  • What specific exercises you will complete to achieve your goal?
  • The amount of time you will spend doing those exercises.
  • How often you will do each exercise (how many days of the week)?
Fitness Plan example: In my example goal in the previous question I wanted to improve my upper body strength. To achieve that goal, I will do specific upper body weight lifting activities. I will do pushups, bench dips, bench presses, and lateral pull-downs. I will do 3 sets of 10 reps for each activity. I will do these activities twice a week. The other days of the week I will work on my lower body and cardio (look at the table in lesson 5.4 to help you create a fitness plan).
