The Beatles, formed in Liverpool in 1960, revolutionized the music industry with their innovative sound and cultural impact. Comprising John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, they became global icons. Their prolific songwriting, experimentation with genres, and timeless hits like "Hey Jude" and "Let It Be" continue to influence generations. The Beatles achieved unparalleled success with a string of chart-topping hits, including "Hey Jude," "Let It Be," "Yesterday," and "Twist and Shout." Their groundbreaking album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" is considered a masterpiece. With record-breaking sales, they remain one of the best-selling music artists in history. Their history as a united group ended when the band officially disbanded in 1970.

John Winston Lennon was an inveterate pacifist, recognized for being the leader and founder of the rock band The Beatles, considered one of the most influential artists of the century. He died in 1980 at the hands of Mark David Chapman.
Pablo McCartney is the most successful member of the Beatles due to his great success both alone and within the group and is currently one of the only two Beatles alive.
Ringo Starr, whose real name is Richard Starkey, apart from his performance in the Beatles, was previously in another Liverpool band "Rory Storm and the Hurricanes". He is currently the only Beatles alive apart from Paul McCartney.
George Harrison was the youngest Beatle having first interacted with the group at the age of 14 when it was still called The Quarrymen although he would not join until several years later. George Harrison died in 2001 due to lung cancer.
