GO!

What is a tire?

I want to get to know...

…Mixing Methods team directly right away

I already have an idea of how the tire is manufactured.

The manufacturing of a tire begins with the mixing

The Mixing Methods team is composed of individuals who promote the development of the mixing process, emphasizing three crucial factors: impact on the planet, worker safety (people), and economic benefit (profit).

(see the plan)

We will be delighted to welcome you in Ladoux at the B03-R1-01 platform and to meet you at your industrial sites.

The mission of the Manager PIT Mixing:

mixing Methodes team

see structure above

  • establish the strategic vision for the process/factory architecture in their domain, optimized in terms of investment costs, and aligned with the challenged product technology plan.
  • make validated processes, standards, and associated specifications available, meeting the product and industrial performance requirements defined by the entity.
  • Implement the SMQDC improvement plan, ensuring industrial performance aligns with product performance.
  • maintain and develop product/process skills.

Here are 3 facts about my life. One of them is FALSE. Can you guess which one?

I was a "birthday gift" for my grandfather, and my son was a "birthday gift" for his grandmother.

A few years ago, I spent New Year's Eve and New Year's Day in Ardmore to kick off a TDE.

I spent three years in Canada when my father was transferred to Toronto.

My first experience at Michelin was as a TDM US9 (Ardmore) in the ZP/BAZ service (textile and metallic calendering production). After that, I moved to South Carolina within the Operational Methods team where I worked for 6 years. My focus was on ZA Charges and DHL ("Dosage Liquide et Huiles" - Liquid Dosing and Oils), and I was also responsible for Balise VICC and NAT20 EVO. Today, as an expatriate in France, I have the opportunity to lead multi-zone process improvement and prototype development, all while experiencing intercultural growth.

The first line of success on my resume would be 'survived France'! ;) I am American. I love running and mountain biking. There are 2 more true facts about me and 1 false. Can you detect the lie?

For fun, I enjoy engaging in outdoor activities.

I have been to the emergency room 13 times in 13 years.

I have worked in three service departments at Michelin.

After spending 8 years in France and Internationally, working for SMEs in the mechanical sector, focusing on laser technologies and metal 3D printing, I joined Michelin in 2021. Today, I leverage Michelin's tools and methods for project management and the industrialization of innovative prototypes in the Mixing domain.

To get to know me better, I suggest you guess: which of the facts about me is FALSE?

I hitchhiked 5000 km in South America.

I "hired" a Doberman to guard my business.

I have two main roles, like almost everyone in the group. One of them involves the ZA Charges and Oils process (ZAC/ZAH). Currently, a significant part of my work is related to the NAT20 project. In line with Michelin's mission, our goal is to reduce the negative impact on the environment. To achieve this, we aim to eliminate virgin carbon black from the tire manufacturing formula and use more renewable materials. To reach this goal, I am researching new materials in collaboration with a team that also includes Vanessa. Our mission is to explore ways to increase the percentage of sustainable materials, initially.

After graduating in 2007, I joined the local material industrialization team at Michelin. During this period, I worked on projects such as NORDIC, ALPIN, and composite mixings, gaining valuable experience in industrialization and product/process relationships. As an SF2 Z/O industrializer, I managed upstream projects and developed skills for B2C and B2B material projects. In the Mixing team with Mohammed, we are involved in the NAT 20 project (the inclusion of more sustainable materials in the tire manufacturing formula). My current role within the Methods group provides me with the opportunity to explore recent technological investments, contributing to acquiring additional skills in the search for new materials suitable for production in close collaboration with existing processes and cost manage.
