BASIC PHYSICAL ABILITIES.

The basic physical abilities or qualities are the characteristic predispositions or possibilities that the individual possesses. They are innate in the individual, susceptible to measurement and improvement, allowing movement and postural tone.

BASIC PHYSICAL ABILITIES

01

It is the physical capacity that allows you to perform a movement in the shortest possible time.

VELOCITY

02

STRENGTH

Strength is the ability to generate tension in the face of resistance, whether static or in motion. This force allows us to overcome resistance or oppose it through muscular contractions.

03

Flexibility is defined as the ability to move a joint, or a series of joints, fluidly through the full range of motion without causing injury. The structured implementation of flexibility programs is a common practice in the clinical and physical-sports field.

FLEXIBILITY

04

Endurance is the physical ability that allows you to maintain a given effort for as long as possible. It is general resistance, which involves important muscle masses and the entire cardiovascular and respiratory system.

ENDURANCE

05

Speed in physical education can be manifested in different ways:

Velocity of displacement. It is the distance traveled in a given time.

Reaction speed. React to a stimulus in the shortest time possible.

Gesture speed. That which involves performing a specific movement in isolation.

KINDS OF VELOCITY

06

Resistance force. Apply force for as long as possible.

Force speed or power. Apply a certain force in the shortest possible time.

Absolute or maximum force. It is about applying the greatest force possible.

KINDS OF STRENGTH

07

There are several types of flexibility:

Static flexibility: ability to reach and maintain a stretched posture.

Dynamic flexibility: ability to make large movements with the joints.

Active flexibility: ability to move a joint or muscle by contraction of the opposite muscle.

KINDS OF FLEXIBILITY

08

There are two types of endurance, aerobic endurance and anaerobic endurance.

Aerobic resistance would be that which aims to endure and resist the physical demand to gain oxygen

Anaerobic resistance is conditioned by an insufficient supply of oxygen to the muscles.

KINDS OF ENDURANCE.
