In 1910, the Marchioness of Mariño de Arga was cursed by a gypsy woman sentenced to death by her wife: when her son turns 10, he will become a werewolf. After the curse falls on the entire village, the residents will also be converted every 100 years. A century later, Tomás Mariño, a failed writer, returns to Arga to receive a tribute without knowing that such an "honor" is to be sacrificed in a ritual in which he must feed the beast with his own blood to stop the curse.

I (personally) like it a lot and I think it's pretty fun to watch, tho you don't expcect the first jumpscare coming from his friend in a closet, but it's not that scary. The special efects leve a lot to desire but what can you really expect from a film recorded in spain, in 2011 about some werewolfs in Galicia that try to kill the protagonist?

It was a masterpiece to watch, I'll never know how it was so well done, the acting, the voice acting, the animation and the beautiful message it sends to everyone. This was really inspiring to keep going and strive to succeed. This caused a storm of tears in my eyes. The music was an amazing choice that made it stuck in my head on purpose, and the twist was so perfect, no picking up the pace, no slowing down, simply perfect.
