The Wai Wai people live in Guyana and nearby places like Suriname, Venezuela, and Brazil. They speak Wai-Wai, a language that about 800 folks use.
WAI WAI
Have originated in the lower Amazon region, possibly from what is now Brazil. They are believed to have migrated to Guyana in the 17th or 18th century, possibly due to pressure from other Carib groups.
