Happy birthday, Tiffany! From the Cambiar Catalyst team!
We know that you and your team have worked hard to promote the inclusion of the diverse voices of systems leaders - including our Catalyst fellows and alumni - into the space you lead.On your birthday, we want to send you a reminder of the impact you are having.
When we met with our fellows in October, we asked them to reflect on the impact the ASU+GSV Summit had on them six months later.
As a systems leader, you don’t always feel valued. It can be a thankless job. Attending ASU+GSV made me feel like someone was investing in me. I felt special.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn so much from so many amazing people. I left feeling reenergized and I have taken so many new ideas back to my schools!
I had never heard of ASU+GSV before attending as a Catalyst finalist. Now I recommend it to all of the leaders in my district.
I loved the opportunity to interact with GSV entrepreneurs in our Learning Circles. At first, I wasn't sure what value I would add. But it ended up being my favorite part of the Summit.
I had no idea many of these innovative ideas and programs existed before attending the Summit. It has opened my eyes to the possibilities of AI and other technology. And I'm committed to bringing these innovations to our schools to better serve my students.
As an educator, I haven't always felt comfortable in the ed tech space. But this felt different. It felt like the innovators were there to listen, and my voice felt valued as a systems leader. It was an incredible learning experience, and I can't wait to go back.
You and your team are making a difference in the lives of the Catalyst community of leaders, and for the 7 million students that go to school in the districts they lead.
