F1 in Schools is a team project for students aged 9 to 19. We design, build, and race miniature Formula 1 cars powered by CO2 cartridges. It's an opportunity to learn about engineering, business, and teamwork. We compete regionally and, if we do well, make it to the World Finals, where top teams from around the world face off. It's a hands-on learning experience that's both fun and educational. We are a group of year 12 students who aspire to be the best in our respective feilds and F1 in schools seems like the best launchpad to our carreer interests.
What is f1 to us?
design engineer and Test engineer
Analyzes and refines the performance of the F1 car through testing and iterative design processes, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
Park Chu Young
resource manager
Oversees the team's budget, secures sponsorships, and allocates resources efficiently to optimize project outcomes.
Arav Bhadawaj
marketing and social media manager
ormulates and executes the team's marketing plan, combining analytical insight with effective communication to promote the team's achievements and garner support.
Kabeer Wadhwan
presentaion and sponsorship manager
Administers the team's online presence, engaging the audience through various social media platforms, and maintaining a dynamic digital presence to build a supportive fan base.
Shivansh Bhat
team leader
Coordinates and manages team tasks, facilitating communication and collaboration among team members, and acts as the primary point of contact with external stakeholders.
Arjan Ethan Talwar
Design/test engineer and team manager
Utilizes Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for precise digital modeling, ensuring accuracy in the development of the F1 car's design.

Who are we?
Team Arrivers
Our vision is to be the driving force of innovation in the F1 in Schools competition, for both our school and our fellow peers. We strive to be the team that sets the standard for cutting-edge engineering, precision, and teamwork. With a passion for and a commitment to sustainability, we aim to design and build the fastest and most effiecent Formula 1 car. We envision a future where our dedication to STEM education and collaboration inspires the next generation of engineers and leaders. Together, we will achieve our vision and accelerate towards success on and off the track.

Manufacturing and Continued Marketing
February
Design Phase (On-going)
Team Development Phase
March
Regularly assess progress and make adjustments in Deleopment for aerodynamics. Intensify marketing efforts, focusing on securing sponsorships, refining promotional materials, and building content for the Instagram profile.
Manufacturing Planning and Marketing Kickoff
Develop a detailed plan for manufacturing, including resources suited for design. Kick off marketing activities, including the development of promotional materials and the establishment of an Instagram profile for social media outreach.
January
Begin the design process using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (Fusion 360). Iterate on the design to optimize aerodynamics and performance. Consider material selection and manufacturing feasibility.
Now - End of December
Understand the F1 in Schools competition rules and regulations. Research successful projects for inspiration. Assemble the team and assign roles.

Presentation and Pit Display
As the competition draws near in May, the team will shift its attention to finalizing the comprehensive presentation for the pitdisplay and , emphasizing a cohesive narrative covering all aspects of design, simulation, testing, and marketing. Simultaneously, the team will complete the design and assembly of the Pit display, aligning it with the project's overarching theme and ensuring it effectively communicates the team's achievements. The final weeks leading up to the competition will involve multiple dry run rehearsals to refine the team's presentation skills and make any necessary adjustments. During the competition week, the team will travel to the venue, set up the Pit display, actively participate in all competition events, and engage with fellow teams, organizers, and attendees to share insights and network. This prep will be fore the competition in may.
Testing and Optimization
In the penultimate month, April, the team will focus on refining the F1 car's performance primarily through virtual testing using aerodynamic software such as Ansys and Fusion 360. This phase involves extensive simulations to analyze and optimize the car's aerodynamics, ensuring that design changes enhance its overall performance. The team will dedicate time to iterate on the digital model based on simulation results, aiming to achieve optimal speed and stability. Concurrently, marketing efforts will persist, with a focus on fine-tuning materials and maintaining an active presence on the team's Instagram profile to showcase progress and engage the audience.

Concept design
Over the past month we spent some time designing a concept of our team car after going through the f1 in schools regulations and improving form older car versions. we have also learnet the fundamentals of aerodynamics and understabd the drag effect and downforce different components like the diffusor, front wing and the rear wing have on the car
