HISTORY

Caridiff is one of the most important of city of the United Kingdom. Is created by the Romans in the 100 d.C.. The Imperator Claudio called it Caerdydd, and thanks to its particcular posisition it became one of the main cities of the Roman Empire, recognized as Cardiffum. In the middle ages, Cardiff became market town exporting coal for the production of iron. Today, cardiff is know for its vibrant cultural scene and home for numeros artists. It was nominated by the UNESCO the first city of literature in the United Kingdom.

CARDIFF IS A CITY OF SPORT. IN THIS CITY IS THE FANTASTIC MILLENIUM STADIUM, HEADQUARTERS AND HOME STADIUM OF THE WELSH NATIONAL RUGBY TEAM. IT IS ALSO USED FOR EVENTS SUCH AS FOOTBALL MATCHES AND SPEEDWAY RACES AS WELL AS ROCK CONCERTS
