Subsequent medical bills and medical reports should be mailed directly to your Worker's Compensation adjuster. Indicate claim number, the employee's Social Security Number and the adjuster's name when available
Should you have a problem with any claim, unpaid bill or delay in disability payments, call the adjuster.
It is important to know that claims involving lawsuits have potential to reach up to one half or exceeded payments excess of the policy limits must be reported to your Excess Liability Umbrella carrier as soon as you are aware of the potential for the claim to impact those policies. Not reporting these types of claims immediately may jeopardize your coverage.
As in all other claims, prompt reporting is essential. Workers Compensation is guided by Workers Compensation statutes and these statutes must be adhered to.
If an employee is injured and there is a subsequent Auto Liability claim, be sure to report the claim to the other carrier if coverage and claims are handled by a different carrier.

Following all property losses:
- Make necessary repairs to protect the property from further damage.
- Retain damage property for inspection by adjuster.
- Whenver possible, take pictures or video of damaged area before starting temporary repairs.
- Keep area safe after a loss.
If needed, contact an emergency restoration company to begin mitigation of the damages to prevent further damage.

Do not discuss the accident with the other party. Advise anyone involved that you will report the accident to your insurance carrier
Remember that adjusters require an opportunity to examine the damaged vehicle. Do not authorize repairs yourself without first contacting the adjuster handling your claim

- Discuss the claim with any other insurance carrier
- Assume responsibility
Prompt reporting gives the adjuster the time they need to investigate and protect your interests in a loss.
If applicable, take and preserve photos of the scene (i.e. if there is a claim for a slip/trip/fall due to a crack in the sidewalk, take photos of the sidewalk immediately)
Immediately preserve any video footage that may have captured the incident
