inspiration for thier code, the Templar Cipher
The red cross or "Maltesecross"
The Order of the Temple: the monks.
The flag of the monks of Templars with the Templar cross, the red cross.
The Templar Cipher
- based on the flag of the monks, the red cross, composed of 4 shapes in harrow heads.
- created 25 symbols (triangles and points) to represent the letters of the alphabet, the letter J didn't exist when encryption was invented.
- the alphabet is divided in 2 series
- the letter N: the central point
- the sencond series is a repetition of the first, symbols are differenced with points
