The aim of the BTS MCO is to take operational responsibility for all or part of a sales unit, thanks to :
- business skills linked to customer relation management, integrating omnichannel, sales drive, boosting offer and digitalizing commercial activities;
- managerial skills linked to operational management of the unit and management of the sales team.
You have the qualities required to... and you want to...
- lead a sales team
- manage a sales unit on a day-to-day basis
- quickly take on responsibilities
- If you have a Baccalauréat Général (A-Levels in the UK ; High School Diploma in the US), or a Baccalauréat Tertiare (BTEC National Diploma) you can apply for the STS MCO (BTEC Higher National Diploma or Higher National Certificate).
- Admission is determined on the basis of a selection process.
What is a sales unit?
- A sales unit is a physical and/or virtual place where a potential customer can have access to a range of products or services. A business unit can be :
- a distribution company in food or specialized sectors a business unit of a production company
- an e-commerce company
- a service provider a profit-making association whose purpose is to distribute products and/or services.
As a graduate in this BTS / HND, you will be responsible for :
- handling all aspects of customer relations
- animating and dynamizing the offer
- forecasting sales unit management
- managing the sales team
To complement and develop your professional skills. there will be internships in one (or two) company(ies), which will be periods of total immersion lasting 14 to 16 weeks over the 2 years.

Here are the required documents:
- registration form ;
- report cards of 1ère and Terminale (years 12 and 13 in the UK/ 11th and 12th Grades in the US)
- ORIGINAL transcript of Baccalauréat marks / grades plus a photocopy to be kept by the school;
- school infirmary form ;
- certificate of participation in the Defense and Citizenship Day (JDC);
- student charter for BTS;
- photocopy of proof of address (less than three months old);
- school-leaving certificate from previous school (EXEAT);
- three passport photos;
- photocopy of proof of identity (valid ID card or passport);
- optional: a 10-euro cheque for Maison des Lycéens membership.
