After answering these questions research opportunities in your area.

Researching and Set Up

There are many places available for students to volunteer at. Ask yourself these questions:1. On what scale do you want to help your community? Locally? State-wide?2. Do you want to volunteer in a big organization or a local non-profit?3. What type of volunteering are you interested in? Animal rescue? Environmental clean-ups?

Register Online

After finding out which organization/ event you want to volunteer for, go to their website and look for their contact or volunteer information. Some volunteer organizations include application forms, you must include your address and the best way to contact them. Make sure to read their requirement before signing up as some volunteering opportunities require open availability.

Start Volunteering

After the organizer of the coordinator reaches out, schedule your hours and start your event. Make sure to get there five minutes early and bring your Bright Future Hours form for it to be signed after the event is over. Reminder: Keep your hours logged in the same form!
