Forma

As formas compostas são constituídas por vários elementos. Por exemplo, a cafeteira é uma forma composta.

As formas simples são constituídas por um elemento. O círculo, o quadrado e o triângulo são exemplos de formas simples.

As formas com ausência de simetria são formas assimétricas. Quando divididas pelo eixo apresentam partes diferentes.

As formas simétricas são aquelas que, através de um eixo imaginário, se dividem em duas partes idênticas.

As formas tridimensionais possuem volume. As esculturas e as construções são formas de expressão tridimensional.

Todas as superfícies representam planos, por isso são bidimensionais (exemplo: superfície de uma folha de papel).

As formas artificiais são todas aquelas criadas pelo ser humano. Geralmente têm uma função utilitária ou estética.

As formas naturais são todas as que existem na Natureza e que ainda não sofreram intervenção pelo ser humano.
