This is most important because this is the main way they figure things out, Like when they figure out Elizabeth Ivy and her kids. They use a cell phone the majority of the time either looking stuff up or communicating with one of the other main characters.
The can gives background on when cadence started to change into the person she is now. The Story behind it is that Cadence went to the store to go get some black olives while she was there she tried to lure two kids who looked like her son and daughter and that is when she first started to kidnap and become the person she is now .
the diary shows great significance in the book because that is when Seneca, Maddox, and Madison looked through the book and figured out how Cadence came up with these fake personalities, names, and people.Thought she used instead of a real identity instead when kidnapping the little boys and girls. To fill the void of sadness she felt.
My book rating
I would rate the book a solid 5 out of 5 I though it was amazing. I liked how many plot twists there are and I think it was an amazing book I would definitely read it again!
I picked seashell because Seneca, Maddox, and Madison learned that the little boy who's being held captive by Elizabeth Ivy, her real name Cadence, kidnaps Damien and holds him hostage on a beach house in New Jersey. That's also where Brett and Viola were held captive when they were kidnapped so many years ago.
The photograph is very significant in this because Seneca, Maddox, and Madison figured out from a picture that Cadence's kids died in a tragic house fire and that is the main reason she started kidnapping kids who looked like them so she felt like she never lost them and having that perfect vacation with her “kids” that she never had.
