Present continuous
We use the present continuous to speak about actions that are happening right now.
WHEN WE USE IT?

She is crying a lot lately. = Ella ha llorado mucho ultimamente.
Example:
Provide context when expressing current situations.

We are going to the cinema next Friday. = Iremos al cine el próximo viernes.
Example:
To express with certainty events or actions of the future.

Right now he’s talking, but yesterday he was unconscious. = Ahora está hablando pero ayer estaba inconsciente.
Example:
To describe actions or momentary events.

He is always running at 6 am. = Él siempre está corriendo a las 6 am.
Example:
To indicate situations that happen frequently. In these sentences it is necessary to add adverbs such as forever, always, constantly, among others, to reinforce their context.

He is working at the cinema. = Él está trabajando en el cine.
Example:
All verbs must end in -ing.

I am running every morning. = Estoy corriendo todas las mañanas.
Example:
When a verb has a single syllable or whose accend falls on the last syllable and ends in a consonant, the latter must be doubled and add -ing.

When the verb ends in "e" that is not pronounced, this must be replaced with -ing.
