Traditions matter to us for many reasons. Whether silly or sacred, traditions are often the source of significant and long-lasting memories for many of us .Traditions not only bring us closer together through celebrating the things that matter to most of us ,but in a society where we seem to focus more on the future that the past, they provide us with the necessary opportunity to pause and reflect on our histories ,both collective and individual.
