CUERPOS ACADÉMICOS E INVESTIGACIÓN EDUCATIVA EN CHIAPAS: ENFOQUES PREDOMINANTES

El propósito de este capítulo es ofrecer información acerca de los CA que se han conformado y llevan a cabo investigaciones educativas en Chiapas, para lo cual setoman en cuenta las diferentes Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES) que en esta entidad cuentan con CA que hayan realizado investigaciones colectivas financiadas por el PROMEP en tres convocatorias: Consolidación de redes temáticas 2008, Consolidación de redes temáticas 2010 y Fortalecimiento de Cuerpos Académicos 2010
INTRODUCCIÓN

La aparición de los CA en las IES se llevó a cabo de diferentes formas y en distintos tiempos.

2.1. CA que realizan IE en Chiapas ...

2.1.1. Subsistemas de educación superior que participan en el PROMEP

En el PROMEP participan actualmente Universidades de diversa índole (estatal, tecnológica, politécnica), Institutos y Escuelas Normales de Chiapas.

No todos los CA realizan IE, así es que se procedió a analizar sus LGAC para identificar cuántos de éstos lo hacen, aspecto que se aborda en el siguiente apartado.

En relación a las Escuelas Normales y a pesar de ser 65% de instituciones registradas ante PROMEP, solamente cuentan con dos CA, es decir 2%. En este caso es únicamente la Escuela Normal Rural Mactumactzá (ENRM).

2.1.2. CA registrados en PROMEP por IES de Chiapas

2.3. IE que realizan los CA en IES de Chiapas

En Chiapas se identifican 26 CA realizando IE. Las Escuelas Normales abordan la IE a través de dos CA, conformando con esto 7.7%; las Universidades Públicas son las que cuentan con un número mayor, al contar con 24 CA realizando IE; en cuanto a las Universidades Politécnicas y Tecnológicas no cuentan con CA que realicen IE.

2.2. CA de IES registradas en PROMEP que realizan IE en Chiapas

Para la revisión de las LGAC que hacen trabajos en el campo educativo, se realizó un análisis comparativo con las áreas temáticas propuesta por COMIE, toda vez que a nivel nacional ésta asociación puede considerarse como rectora de la IE que se hace en México, entre sus esfuerzos esta organizar y propiciar las investigaciones que realizan las distintas instituciones.

2.3. IE que realizan los CA en IES de Chiapas

Esta área promueve trabajos de investigación enfocados a identificar los factores asociados al aprendizaje, el desarrollo humano y el desempeño escolar (COMIE, 2011, s/p).

2.3.1. Área 1. Aprendizaje y desarrollo humano

Las LGAC de los CA que realizan IE en Chiapas relacionadas con esta área temática son las siguientes:

Aprendizaje, cognición y desarrollo, LGAC del CA Currículo, evaluación y psicopedagogía, de la UNACH, registrado en 2003

Lengua, cultura y sociedad, LGAC del CA Lingüística aplicada: segunda lengua y lengua extranjera, de la UNACH, registrado en 2007.

Enseñanza de lenguas, LGAC del CA Enseñanza de lenguas campus IV, de la UNACH, registrado en 2005.

Cognición, afectividad y procesos educativos, LGAC del CA Educación, diversidad y desarrollo sustentable, de la UNACH, registrado en 2007.

En esta área se cultivan y se promueven investigaciones en torno a las orientaciones conceptuales, las reformas, las prácticas y los procesos curriculares en los ámbitos de la educación formal y no formal, así como el análisis de experiencias de innovación, cambios curriculares, evaluación de programas educativos y estudios sobre políticas y experiencias internacionales en el campo.
