In Chile it is well seen and respected if someone arrives in time because offten times people arrive 30 minutes late. Greetings should always be with a firm handshalke and direct eye contact. Most people in a business are addresed by their last name and job title. Most meetins do not have a plan that is followed. Lastly, wearing a formal attire is highly recommended in Chile to be well respected

Chilenas are known for communicating in an expressive and emotional way. They often interrupt when conversations topics are driven by passion. Adittionally, they try to avoid conflict and/or confrontation by changing topics. Chileans tend to be quite physical while talking. It is normal for people to touch each other shoulders or back while having a conversation. Chileans are usted to standing close from one another. it may be considered rude if someone tries to backaway while having a conversation.

Chilean food is mainly inspired in Spanish and local culture. Chileans love having bread any time of the day. Some of the most known bread are hallulas, dobladitas, and marraquetas. Some well known dishes are Empandas de Pino, Cazuela, and Porotos con Riendas. Chile is also recognized for having a good quaility and taste in Wine.
