2º ESO Reading Plan

What do I expect from this class? How can I reach this goal? How can a class atmosphere and your teacher help to reach this goal? In your own experience, what do you think helps you to improve your English? What would you like to do in English class?

  • Treat others with respect at all times.
  • Listen to the teacher when s/he speaks.
  • Ask for help when you need it.
  • Be prepared every day with required items.
  • Respect other people’s property.
  • Listen and follow directions.
  • Raise your hand before speaking or leaving your seat.
  • Respect your classmates and your teacher.
  • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
  • Make groups of three or four.
  • Each group needs a small board and a whiteboard marker.
  • Think about what rules there should be in the classroom.
  • Write these on the board.

Activity: Classroom rules

  • We take the exams and tests (Listening, Reading, Test, …) in the classroom.
  • Oral presentations:
In class or sending an audio or video to the teacher. Students will be assigned a topic or question related with the contents of each term and a date to speak about it.Students may use visual aids (mind-map, genialy, poster, Prezi, PPT).
  • Extra Material:
Photocopies (extra exercises if it's necessary, etc.), songs, etc.
  • Individual work, partner work, work in groups.
  • Cooperative Learning :
Think – Pair – Share (principle of cooperative learning)Different cooperative learning activities / techniquesReading Circle, Cooperative reading, etc.
