SCALE = Measurement of the DRAWING /Measurement of the REAL OBJECT.
The resemblance is a relationship between figures in which the anglescorrespondents of the figures are equal, and their sides corresponding, proportional.Technical drawing is a language that allows us to express ideas about theobjects we want to build. Anyone should be able to understand and interpret our drawings, and for that it is not enough to do them well, in addition we must follow the rulesthat exist in this language (NORMALIZATION). ✓ Definition of drawing: form of communication that allows to express ideas. ✓ Artistic drawing: used to express feelings. That’s what we do when we paint a picture. ✓ Technical drawing: used to represent objects we want build objectively. When we make a drawing to a size larger or smaller in size real of the real object we say we are drawing to scale. SCALE: is the ratio between the size of the drawing and that of the real object. It is expressed as a quotient. The scales can be reduction, enlargement or natural

The drawing becomes smaller than the size of the real object. They are of the type ½, 1/5, 1/200. That is the numerator is smaller (usually 1) than the denominator. Applied a plans of houses, roads, to design cars ... that is, any large object that does not fit within a consistent size of paper.
★ REDUCTION SCALE
The drawing becomes larger than the size of the real object. They are of the type 2/1, 6/1, 500/1. That is the numerator the largest of the denominator, (which is usually 1). Applied to designjewelry, some mechanical parts, some toys ... that is, objects that are very small and to be able to draw and understand them we need to expand its parts on the sheet.
★ ENLARGEMENT SCALE
The drawing is made to the size of the real object. It is the 1/1 scale. There are objects that have a reasonable size and the his description fits perfectly into the papaer.
★ NATURAL SCALE
