The school district and I all take a strong stance against plagiarism & cheating. I strongly encourage you to complete ALL your own work. Any student that is caught cheating, copying, or plagiarizing work from another student or online will receive a zero & will NOT be allowed to redo the work. Students that share their work with others for this purpose will also receive a zero & will NOT be allowed to redo the work.
Plagiarism and Cheating
Students will be responsible for checking the calendar or to do list in Canvas on Mondays through Fridays to see what work they need to complete. Activities, assignments, quizzes...are going to be located in the due date in the calendar. Don’t procrastinate! Students will be expected to complete all work before the due date, if the student didn't do his/her work during class time or he/she was at the school and was marked as an unexcused absent, assignments turned in a day late will result in a max score of 70% of your total grade. If the student is mark as excused absent, the same number of days that he/she was absent is considered to complete his/her work. This can be avoided if you complete and submit all your work on time.

Info
We understand that students may be absent at times, but every time we do that we are missing out on valuable instruction time. It’s important that the student, if able, keep up with the work by accessing the eCampus calendar when out of the classroom.
I would like to remind you that the grades displayed on Skyward are not final until further notice. Zeros serve as a reminder for students to complete and submit their late work assignments. As an experienced educator, I understand that students may not feel the same sense of urgency when an assignment is simply marked as missing.
Always refer to Skyward for current class grades and missing assignments
Not all assignments on eCampus will be entered in Skyward. We use the eCampus calendar as a guide for the students to follow, Not every assignment on eCampus will be graded
