Happy Culture Flexible activities to celebrate, energize or relax students. These activities help teachers respond, in a dynamic way, to the needs that students might have throughout the day, as well as create a culture of joy in the classroom.

Rubrics The evaluation rubric is an instrument designed to track individual or group progress regarding the program's learning outcomes. This rubric helps teachers assess the personal dimension —attention, concentration, self-control, growth mentality, and self-motivation—, the social dimension —social skills, leadership, gratitude, and generosity— and the world dimension —problem resolution, interdependence, and care for the environment—. We suggest using the rubric on a quarterly basis: at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end of the school year.

Competencies Table In this document, you will find the Happy competencies for the preschool level and their equivalence with the CASEL competencies. Each level has 4 competencies per attribute to work on throughout the school year.

Happy@Home Happy@Home is a site dedicated to the families of Happy students. In it, you will find information on the foundation of the program, articles on each attribute, and recommendations for parents or guardians. Likewise, they will find a variety of resources, such as situational meditations, relaxing sounds, self-knowledge tests, a user guide to use Happy@Home, activities to do as a family, and more.

Relaxing Sounds and Energizing Music The sounds of nature included in Happy help improve mood and reduce stress. These sounds calm and help to relax because they have a pleasant tone that indicates to the brain that there are no threats, reducing anxiety and serving as a distraction from daily worries. The selection of music, available from the Soothing Sounds document or from Additional Resources, accompanies and motivates students in kinesthetic activities.

Additional Resources The "Additional Resources" button takes the teacher to a repository of support resources to implement the Happy program, such as Happy Theoretical Foundation, students awards, informative articles, self-knowledge tests, a Happy presentation for parents, music tracks for kinesthetic activities, tips, recommendations, images of the attributes to print, the rules for the session, marketing materials, and more.

Group Activity Table The table of group activities is a reference document where you can easily locate all the group activities for the entire school year. These activities are part of sessions 2,4,6,7 and 8 of each attribute.

Weekly Plans The weekly plans have been adapted to fit the needs and conditions of each grade. Each of the sessions of the school year has a detailed plan with suggested activities —including pre-activity, activity, and closing— and various recommendations on the use of digital materials and resources. Teachers can download and modify the lesson plans according to their needs.

Posters All course-level posters are available through the digital library and can be easily projected in the classroom.

Implementation Manual The implementation manual includes practical and simple information on the correct use of the materials, the activities, and the different exercises.
