The Architecture career integrates knowledge of art, design, engineering, landscaping, urban planning and more. It is a creative career, which teaches you to design spaces optimizing resources and looking for the well-being of the people who will inhabit them. Architecture is, in essence, the art and technique of planning and designing buildings, spaces and structures, focusing on the design, creation, improvement and restoration of physical spaces based on the needs of the human being.

Ease of freehand drawing. Basic knowledge of physics and mathematics. Capacity for analysis, synthesis and observation. Interest in the humanities (art, culture or sociology). Ability to build three-dimensional objects with various materials such as cardboard or paper. Master organization and order.

The most important subject that is considered is geometry. This matter has special importance within architecture. So much so, that there is a branch called geometric architecture. Geometry is considered one of the oldest sciences, being a branch of mathematics where lengths, areas and volumes are important. This branch deals with geometric figures and their properties, both in planes and in space.

Skills learned in the architecture career:

• *AutoCAD* is a computer-aided design (CAD) program developed by Autodesk. It is widely used in the architecture and engineering industry to create 2D technical drawings and 3D models. AutoCAD allows architects to design accurate plans, make quick modifications, and generate detailed documentation for construction projects.

• *Revit*, also developed by Autodesk, is a building information modeling (BIM) software. Unlike AutoCAD, which focuses more on technical drawings, Revit focuses on creating intelligent 3D models that contain information about building elements and their relationships. This allows architects to design, coordinate and analyze a project more holistically, facilitating collaboration between different disciplines and project phases.
