In this guidebook there are details on everything that you need to know about the apartment for your stay. This should answer any questions that you might have, however we are always on hand to help you with anything else. Getting your keys.
There is a Key Box set up for your arrival. It is situated a short walk away from the property on a fence between a green power box and a lamppost. Here are some pictures to help you locate it. The red lock is where the key box is and the orange house is where the flat is. To help more here are the'What3Words' location - Backs.Grace.Mint. Once you have collected your keys you can head to the apartment. It is number 20 and is on the left hand side of the road. On your set of keys there is a brass coloured key, this will get you into the door of the building. Then head up to the second floor. The door is green and has a cat flap on it. Please use the long mortice key first to unlock the bottom lock. Insert the key and turn gently to the left to unlock. Then using the square style key, open the top lock. While turning the top lock key turn the brass door handle to the left and the door will pop open. To help find the flat here are the 'What3Words' location - Skills.Ports.Cities

The apartment has WiFi free for you to use. We hope you enjoy the service but you are responsible for safe and appropriate use and complying with all laws. If there is any loss of service please contact us.USERNAME - 20 Rannoch Street PASSWORD - RannochdanieTo turn the TV on press the red button on the larger remote. The TV has a FireStick installed too. To control the FireStick please use the smaller remote pictured. There are many apps free for you to use. Simply pop your own Netflix, Disney or other app details in and watch away. The TV does also have FreeView channels for UK TV stations. This can be accessed by pressing the 'TV' button on the larger remote

ABOUT THE ACCOMODATION
The coffee machine will have some pods out for your arrival. If you wish to purchase more for your stay the machine takes 'Nespresso Pods'. Turn the machine on at the wall, lift the silver lever at the top and place a pod in. The 2 buttons either side of the lever correspond to a large or small coffee. There is a small glass under the machine to catch your coffee, once finished pour into your coffee cup.
The hob is also turned on by the same switch as the oven. To turn the hob on once on at the wall place your finger on the touch button that has a horizontal line. Then the 4 half circles above that correspond to the rings on the applicance. The + and - buttons increase and decrease the heat.

The oven/grill is turned on first at the wall above. It is the switch on the right hand side above the hob. The first dial, from left to right, controls the part of the oven you wish to use. The middle dial is a timer and the right hand side dial is the temperature control.

ABOUT THE ACCOMODATION
There is blender for you to use in the property. There is a dial on the front for you to choose the setting a blade speed too.
The cutlery and other utentils can be found in this drawer above the oven. There are also cooking utentils on the worktop just to the left of the drawer for you to use.

The washer dryer is located in the kitchen behind the left-hand side cupboard door. There are dials on the front panel to the right and all the programs on the detergent drawer to the left. Here is a manual to help you work the machine if you run in to any issues.

ABOUT THE ACCOMODATION
The shower is controlled by the lever shown in the first picture. Pull the lever towards you to start the water. Turn left for colder water and right to increase to your desired temperature. The bath taps are shown in the photo on the right. The tap to the left is the hot tap and to the right is the cold. Simply press the plug on the floor of the bath down to secure it in place then the dial on the side of the bath is turned to release the plug and let the water drain away.

ABOUT THE ACCOMODATION
The central heating is controlled by the boiler. It is located in the bedroom cupboard. To turn the heating on, use the dial you see in the top right hand picture. The small button the red arrow is pointing to must be pushed to the right towards the | line for ON and to the left to 0 to turn it off. Once you have turned the heating on please don't touch and off the dials on the boiler. To control the temperature in each room there are numbered dials on the individual radiators. Number 0 is the lowest heat and 5 is the highest. THE HOT WATER IS ALWAYS ONThe dial to the bottom right of the photo is to control the underfloor heating in the bathroom. It is in the hall cupboard. To turn this on, press the button the blue arrow is pointing to. You are looking for the screen with the pointed finger and the red light above to be on. If you don't see this screen press the left arrow on the device and it will bring you there. Press the up and down arrows to control the temperature. With any underfloor heating it does take a while to heat up. If you wish for heat faster in the bathroom turn the central heating on and the towel rail will warm up. PLEASE ALWAYS TURN THE HEATING OFF ON BOTH DEVICES WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING IT OR LEAVE THE PROPERTY, THANK YOU.

ABOUT THE ACCOMODATION
SubwayGlasgow's Subway is a great way to get around. There are no stations nearby but they aren't too far away. The Subway takes you through the West End and City Centre of Glasgow, with eight stations to the North of the River Clyde and seven to the South. There are two lines: an Outer circle running clockwise and an Inner circle running anticlockwise. All trains stop at all stations no matter the direction. TRAINThe nearest train station to the property is 'Cathcart'. It is around a 5 minute walk away. There are 2 platforms and they each run a service around the city. For more information on the train routes please follow the green link below. You can buy tickets at the train station via the machines or on the train from the conductor. For more information on ticket prices please press the purple link below.
BUSThere is a bus stop right outside the apartment. These are Glasgow FirstBus buses are the number 4 & 4A stops right outside. This bus goes between Newton Mearns, Glasgows West End and City Centre. Press on the red link button below for more information on the bus route. For ticket prices please on the blue link button. This has information on Daily, Weekly and Monthly plans depending on your trip length.

Local Small StoreShopsmart - Directly across the road from the flat. This store has confectionery, drinks, cupboard foods, fresh milk and much more.
There are lots of small grocery stores within walking distance to the apartment. There are larger supermarkets not to far away as well. I have listed a few below to help you settle in with some groceries for your stay.

In the UK we have some great health care. If you are a UK resident, in Scotland health care is free as well as prescriptions. There are local Pharmacies that can give medication off the shelf but items such as antibiotics, strong pain killers and other medicines must be prescribed. Here are some useful details for you

- Football colours (including internationals) are not usually allowed in pubs and clubs.
- Protect your belongings and be careful when using cash machines, in particular in the city centre.
- The police are there to help and will be happy to direct you to the better pubs and clubs or direct you to taxis.

The trash and recycling is located on the entrance level of the building pictured here. In Glasgow, our Green Bins are for general waste and food and the blue bins are for recycling. Please read the blue bins carefully before popping your rubbish in as the bin company wont take them if there is food inside.
