The same or different?

The final product of the eTwinning project

In this presentation we will show the outcome of the project - the answer to the question: Are we the same or different?

We talked about our favourite video games.

We shared the photos of our pets.

We spend our free time doing the same activities

We have similar hobbies.

We are at the same age.

When we were describing ourselves on padlet and reading about our peers we were surprised by how much we have in common.In fact, we could hardly find any differences.

Introduction

-We attend different school activities and events.-Schools start early in the morning.-8 hours lessons a day in Poland and Türkiye.-In Italy and Poland ,they learn occupation.-We have common lessons like English, history of their country,their native language.....

-We have education in different types of schools.-5-6 hours lessons a day in Italy.-In Türkiye they study for upper education, they don't learn profession.-In Italy there are labs and students have workshops on plane engines there.-In Poland students study to be hotelier or sales managers.

When we watched the videos about our peers' days at school, we found differences and similarities.

Our day at school

1. In all countries there are both national and religious festivals.
2. We all love festivals and feel happy on those days.
3. Most of us love coming together and spending time happily with our families.
4. New year is celebrated in all countries.
5. We all respect the differences of our peers and happy to learn new things from our peers.

1. In each country there are different kinds of celebrations and holidays.
2. National festivals are celebrated on different dates.
3. Religious festivals ,their dates and the way they are celebrated are different in Türkiye.
4. Christmas and new year eve is a religious festival in Italy and Poland but it is welcoming new year happily in Türkiye .

Our favourite holidays

1. Future professions are similar for the students who are in the same type of schools.
2. Many of us have chosen our professions as we are interested in or like it.
3. Most of us are aware of the pros and cons of our deram jobs.
4. Most of us were inspired by someone to choose our profession.
5. Most of us prefer popular jobs and earning good money and becoming rich.
6. Almost we all have dreams for the future.

1. We have diffrent future professions wea are planning to do.
2. Some of us want university education, some of us want to work after finishing our schools.
3. Some of us want to work in a company, some of us want to be self-employed and few of us still don't know want to do.
4. Each of us has a different dream.

We had a survey about students'future plans,dreams and future professions.

1. There are different kinds of meals and different tastes .
2. The time of lunch is different. Though 10 a.m is lunch time for Poland , it is very early for Türkiye.

1. There are similar meals like soup, pizza, yoghurt,pancakes.Maybe, we can say they have become universal tastes anymore.
2. Learning about different meals and eating habits is a pleasure for all of us.
3. We have similar breakfast ,lunch and dinner habits.

We prepared recipes from our national cusines and presentations about our everyday menu.We tried our peers'recipes.

1. We live in small,peaceful towns.
2. We are happy to live in our hometowns.
3. Nature is beautiful in our hometowns.
4. We have similar free time activities we like doing like cycling, taking care of animals.

1. We live in different countries.
2. We have different free time activities because of the opportunities of our hometowns.Polish teenagers like kayaking because there is a river in their hometowns. Turkish teenagers like swimming because their hometown is by the sea.

We had a presentation/short film introducing our hometowns.We had a chance to watch our peers' works and to talk about our hometowns.

The Final Word

As the Same or Different project Team, we are teenagers from different countries,from different cultures ,from different nations ;we speak different languages;maybe our believes are different, however we have similar future dreams ,we have similar hobbies and interests.As a result, we managed to communicate in the same language with great enthusiasm, respect and collobration and have the same good wishes for everybody and every good thing in the world.
