7th Kindergarten of Tirnavos / Greece Tirnavos is the second largest city in the Prefecture of Larissa and the fifth largest in Thessaly.Three versions prevailed regarding the origin of the name.According to the first, it is a Slavic word, meaning thorny place, while according to the second,Tirnavos got its name from the pike, i.e. the fish, that lived in the waters of the Titarisios river or Xeria.Built to the left of Titarisios at 90m. height (stemming from Mount Titaros),it is at the crossroads, which connects the plain of Larissa with Elassona.The city of Tirnavos is known for its tsipouroas well as the carnival and the unique custom in Greece, the Bourani.In recent years, the Tirnavitiko Carnival is consideredthe biggest and best Carnival of Central Greeceand is a Panhellenic event.The 7th Kindergarten of Tirnavos is locatedin the area of Agios DimitriosIt is co-located with the 5th Kindergartenand the 4th Primary School of Tyrnavos.https://www.tirnavos.gr/iστορική-αναδρομή/We are very happy to be part of this project because we will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, ideas, cultures and methods with other schools around the world!!Website :https://blogs.sch.gr/7niptyrnav/
