Villages used to have:

Houses and buildings are usually low rise. The streets are short and narrow.There is not much traffic.

Villages are small localities with less than 10000 inhabitants.

What are villages?

There are many buildings. Buildings are tall.Outside the cities you can see factories, warehouses and airports.

Localities with more than 10.000 inhabitants are towns or cities. Cities are BIGGER than towns.

What are cities?

Logroño is the city where we live in. Logroño is the capital of La Rioja.La Rioja is a region in the north of Spain.

Consist of:- The major, who is the head of the minicipality.- The councillors, who help the major do his or her job. Each councilor is responsible for a municipal service.

The local council is the institution in charge of organising and governing the village, town or city (the municipality) where you live.
