1. Log into IReady 2. Go to Reports 3. Class 4. Diagnostic Results- Reading 4. Select - All Reading Students (under Class/Report Group) - Window 1 (under Diagnostic) 5. Then press the CSV button

1. Open the CSV 2. Sort Student Names by A-Z 3. Copy the first four rows - paste into a new excel sheet 4. Name Document 5. Name Page Diagnostic #1 6. Go through Rush Flag column to color code yellow and red flags.

1. Repeat Step One 2. BUT change the Diagnostic filter to MOST RECENT - this will give you the SECOND score no matter if it came from the second or third test. 3. Press the CSV button 4. Repeat Step 2

1. Create a new page on your excel sheet 2. Name it Last Diagnostic 3. Paste in the new information 4. Repeat the same steps from Step 2

1. Create a new page on your Excel sheet 2. Name it Growth 3. Copy information from "Diagnostic #1" page into the first three columns 4. Copy information from "Last Diagnostic: page into the next three columns ****BE SURE NAMES LINE UP! IF NOT, ADJUST****

1. Click I-2 cell 2. In the search bar type: +F2-B2 - hit enter 3. Press on cell I-2 and then control C to copy 4. Hit shift and go to the last cell in row I 5. Hit enter and the formula should post in each cell to show you growth or regression 6. If the number is Zero - it means the learner only took the first diagnostic 7. If the number is REALLY high - it means that the learner only took the second or third diagnostic

1. Look at Row I 2. Count up Positive and Negative Numbers 3. That would be your final count of participating students 4. Count up Positive numbers and divide by the total, this will give you a percentage of growth in your student population. *** You may want to leave out the high numbers of learners who did not participate in the first diagnostic***
