Whether you are walking, running or volunteering at parkrun, children are always welcome to come with you to parkrun.Lots of people walk the 5k - you don't have to run it!

Free 5k or volunteering opportunity
parkrun is a free 5k every Saturday morning, in local parks across the UK.
Valentines Park - a 10 minute walk away
Register once here and make a note of your parkrun ID. It will give you a personal barcode - print this out or screenshot this on your phone.Safety tip: You can just use your first name or a psuedo name on your profile, you don't have to use your full name. The results page is publicly accessible, where all participant's names are displayed each week. If there is a photographer attending, you can request not to be photographed. If you have any tech safety concerns, contact your local tech lead or the tech team.
Every Saturday, 9am. Turn up at 8:30am if volunteering. Turn up at 8:45am if it is your first ever parkrun.

All you need to bring along with you is your personal barcode!
What to bring?
You don't have to wear sportsgear or trainers or anything at parkrun. Just wear whatever you are comfortable in.

Email valentines@parkrun.com with your personal ID to ask to volunteer, and let them know what date and role. If you are walking or running, just turn up! No need to email.
